Pomegranate for dental health?

A recent study conducted by Ohio State University found that "pomegranate components have properties that could promote oral health, including the risk of gingivitis". The study examined young adults for the effects of 4 weeks using Pomella® extract dissolved in water as a mouth rinse, 3 times daily. The study revealed that pomegranate components have properties that could promote oral health, including reducing the risk of gingivitis.
